How Your Sponsorship Affects Lodi
Food
Lodi gets his portion of sheep feed twice each day.
Hay
Lodi shares Bermuda hay with all her buddies.
Bedding
Lodi's stall is padded with stall mats and filled with a layer of shavings for easy clean up.
Salt
All our 4-legged stars have loose salt available.
Parasite Control
Lodi is dewormed as needed every 2-3 months.
Fly Control
Flies are more than a nuisance. They can pose serious health risks. In addition to our aggressive cleaning practices, we treat the entire animal housing area and pasture with fly predators. We have traps and other deterrrents across the property and use fly sprays on individual animals as needed.
Shearing Supplies
Lodi is sheared once or twice annually. So we keep a good set of sheep shears on hand as well as shearing oil.
Veterinarian Care
Lodi receives regular care with an annual exam and stays up-to-date on shots. Of course, he also gets emergency care when needed.
Costumes & Props
Lodi sometimes wears blankets or sheep bells on stage.
Treats
What's life without a treat every now and then? Carrots, apples and other carefully selected treats make Lodi smile!
