How Your Sponsorship Affects Mo
Food
Mo gets his portion of pig feed twice each day.
Bedding
Mo's stall is filled with a layer of shavings and plenty of straw to stay warm in the winter.
Straw
Mo has straw both outside in his shelter and indoors in his stall. The straw allows him to root around and make a wonderful bed where he rests with his brother, Curly.
Hay
Mo gets hay when grazing is slim in the winter months.
Salt
All our 4-legged stars have loose salt available.
Parasite Control
Mo is dewormed as needed every 2-3 months.
Fly Control
Flies are more than a nuisance. They can pose serious health risks. In addition to our aggressive cleaning practices, we treat the entire animal housing area and pasture with fly predators. We have traps and other deterrrents across the property and use fly sprays on individual animals as needed.
Veterinarian Care
Mo receives regular care with an annual exam and stays up-to-date on shots. Of course, he also gets emergency care when needed.
Costumes & Props
Mo sometimes wears a bow and often comes into the theatre in his "pig cart" to avoid having to walk on the stage.
Treats
What's life without a treat every now and then? Carrots, apples and specialty pig treats make Mo smile! But what he loves most of all is fresh watermelon!
